Summary:
We are looking for Service Designers to join our client's fast-growing human experience design team, to take ownership over a project working closely with the design disciplines and their project teams. This person will be passionate about building outstanding experiences and who thinks deeply about people, processes, and systems. You will also be passionate about enabling their project team to create a cohesive view of all team discipline perspectives that can be utilized to drive and anchor the direction of their project by implementing Service Design processes and best practices.

Your skills:

• Working with the Service Design Lead for the value stream to implement hxd standards within their project.
• Be an expert communicator with empowering and educating discipline peers and project stakeholders on all things Service Design, taking them on a journey to truly understand the value of service design.
• Understanding and utilizing human experience design practices for each step of the process.
• Build and iterate a cohesive view of your project, using workshops and best practices to facilitate the collaboration of all project disciplines to create a seamless cohesive experience for both the end users and key stakeholders.
• Be facilitator of visions and perspectives for all discipline peers in creating a shared vision and understanding of your project using the lens of viability, desirability and feasibility.
• Supporting the Service Design needs of your project team to produce service design blueprints, illustrated journey maps, concept designs, service experience prototypes, integrating accessibility requirements, empathy maps, and value proposition proposals, for the creation and evolution of products and services.
• Expert in the planning, facilitating and executing of outputs of design thinking style workshops.
• Apply information architecture (such as user flows, taxonomy, hierarchy etc.) to services and products.
• An expert in design thinking methodology practices.
• Understanding and leading of different research methods and how to structure research and basics tests to reduce the risk of confirmation and one other type of bias impacting the results, working closely with researchers to develop designs and basic prototypes based upon scenarios.
• Effectively consolidate and communicate key findings and insights cross-functional and to key stakeholders.

Your Accountabilities:

• Working with the project team to be the voice and lead for Service Design to implement best practices, plan, facilitate and execute design thinking style workshops.
• Carrying out key service design activities from our processes, ways of working and best practices.
• Consolidating and Communicating key insights and findings from Service Design activities.
• Collaborating with other design disciplines within your project team such as product designers, user researchers and digital designers to create a cohesive story and seamless experience.
• Collaborate with designers (and various different agencies) from connecting projects.

Desirable skills:

• Basic visual design and UX skills to be applied for playback decks/presentations, service blueprints and all other service design-based deliverables.

You will need:

• BS/MS Degree; preference for Human Computer Interaction, Service Design, or Computer Science; or equivalent experience.
• Experience working as a service designer with an in-house Design team or at a Design agency.
• Knowledge of Agile or Lean UX or product methodologies and experience working in a collaborative, agile environment is a plus.
• A portfolio that highlights your approach to problem solving coupled with your skills in research, user experience, and design (both visual and interaction)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

You will:

• Work with the research leadership team to develop quality standards across practice, methods and ways-of-working.
• Own, lead and execute all research activities, ensuring that the appropriate processes, principles, and resources are engaged to generate quality outcomes for customers and the business.
• Conduct research activities and support team members when it comes to gathering, analysing, synthesizing research data, and presenting or applying insights to the team's work.
• Ensure that your team and stakeholders are appropriately supported.
• Champion UX Research across the organization, educating, influencing, and guiding stakeholders and partners.

You will need:

• The successful candidate should have experience working as a UX Researcher with an in-house design team or at a design/research agency. You should have a portfolio that highlights your approach to research. Other skills required:
• Be a natural expert in your field, an experienced practitioner in tune with industry trends and developments
• Have excellent knowledge of planning and executing appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methods, operating within design thinking and agile delivery ways-of-working
• Have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to frame complex concepts simply, clearly, and persuasively and adapt for different audiences and org levels
• Create evidence-led narratives that bring to life the experience of customers and colleagues, enabling partners to better understand, empathize and engage with their needs and mindsets
• Develop and cultivate strong relationships within a diverse partner community, manage their expectations and consider multiple perspectives which feed into the definition of solutions
• Coach and mentor teams and individuals to help accelerate the adoption of design and research within the organization
• Be well versed with working closely with designers in product, service, content, design engineering and designOps specialisms, and with customer insight and product roles
• Confident in speaking about ux research as part of bp design initiatives and community
• A degree in psychology, cognitive science, human factors, computer science, product/interaction design, human computer interaction or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our client's fast-growing human design experience team, to partner with product designers from your business unit to drive and connect all design activities across projects optimizing shared insights and collaboration across the business unit, streamlining, and iterating the implementation of the design system to create one cohesive joint up experience across our digital products. This person will be passionate about building outstanding experiences and who thinks deeply about people, user experience and visual design. Experienced in leveraging user insights in creating user flows and wireframes, this person will also be confident in utilizing design systems for prototypes and have a passion for beautifully designed products.

Your will:

• Be an expert communicator with empowering and educating your team and stakeholders on all things Product Design, taking project leaders on a journey to truly understand the value of Product Design.
• Collaborate with Product Designers leading projects close to yours, sharing learning and insights with a goal to create seamless experiences between products.
• Have a good understanding of planning, executing and implementing design thinking methodology.
• Planning and facilitating cross-functional workshops that enable vision creation, product roadmaps, feature prioritization and ideation.
• Strong skills in visual design disciplines (typography, iconography, composition, color, composition, layout) and all other Product Design outputs.
• Knowledge of industry trends, Identify UI design solutions in response to latent or anticipated sociocultural trends.
• Collaborate with product designers and agency design teams in applying UX principles, extensive personal knowledge, and user research data to build user interfaces and other user interactions that implement information designs, user workflows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Rapid human centered prototyping that can be tested to validate user insights and business assumptions, setting the strategic direction of the product.
• Strong communication skills for product-line concepts, narratives, and experience value propositions.
• Good knowledge of how to implement different research methods and how to structure research and basic tests to reduce the risk of confirmation and one other type of bias impacting the results, working closely with researchers to develop designs and basic prototypes based upon scenarios.
• Taking an agile approach to work closely with a multi-disciplinary project team to test and iterate new product features against a product strategy, roadmap or backlog.
• Effectively consolidate and communicate key findings and insights cross-functional and to key stakeholders, actively engaging with the product team, representing the client design philosophy and advocating for the user.

Your Accountabilities:

• Implementing the best practices, processes and ways of working in Product Design (UX/UI).
• Executing strong visual design skills and knowledge of implementing and feeding into design systems.
• Implementing UX skills and knowledge of UX best practices, user flows, wireframing and IA.
• Collaboration and leveraging shared insights and outcomes with other Product Designers in your business unit.

Desirable criteria:
Good understanding of Service Design and User Research practices.

You will need:
